Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada is leading providers of after-school and critical hours programs, recognized for significantly contributing to the healthy development of over 200,000 young people and their families each year. In more than 700 communities locations across Canada, clubs work closely with families and schools to provide young people with programs that support healthy development in physical recreation, technology, the arts, personal growth and more. Many clubs also provide meals, emergency shelter, family support programs and other supports to children, youth and families at risk. BGCC distributed over $960 thousand to club members, clubs and regions, in cash and in-kind through national partnerships including: after-school enhancement grants, grants to support nutrition programs, access to technolgy, youth leadership development programs, post-secondary scholarship grants.
